Yes. The software allows you to load high resolution photos and still maintain that quality when you go to your print shop or publish as a PDF. When you load a photo the software will compress the file slightly (by 5%) to ensure efficient use of data space.
The key to printing is maintaining that quality when you create the PDF. The standard "save as PDF" option will create a PDF with the image DPI of 300 px. If you would like to create a PDF with images of a higher DPI we recommend using a PDF print driver that can support higher resolution.
